Our Palanda Chocolates are named after the ancient site near the Ecuador-Peruvian border where Cacao was first celebrated 5000 years ago! Theobroma is Greek meaning Food of the Gods. The Maya of Central America gathered once a year to give thanks to their Cacao God Ek Chuah.
