Our baby foods are based on breadfruit which has helped raise children for thousands of years in the Polynesian areas of the world. Just one breadfruit tree can sustain a family of 4 for over 50 years with wonderful nutrition. When the Polynesians traveled all over the pacific ocean, one of the plant seeds they took with them was the breadfruit tree. In Hawaii when the Europeans arrived the Hawaiian people had many square miles of breadfruit forests on the islands to feed their people. The same was observed in Tahiti when the Europeans arrived on their shores.
